About Us
The WHAS Cultural Arts Center, located in northern Manhattan, serves the community with year round programs for the entire family. Our dance programs provide young hopeful dancers with the fundamentals of education support and technical training. The Center offers a wide array of classes including ballet, pointe, Hip Hop, Tap, Afro Cuban, Choreography composition, Belly Dance, Zumba, Karate, and special events show casting our student dancers and also participating in dance team competitions. The Center encourages young dancers to audition for an annual scholarship program.

Cultural Arts Center is a well respected and thriving Art Center in Washington Heights. We’ve got a history of commitment toward our students and our community. While we’re dedicated to producing our own community art, we’re also devoted to bringing the artistry in our students. Offering classes to adults, teens and children. We strive to instill creativity and community values to encourage artists and guests that come to Cultural Arts Center seeking a fun, relaxing, and well rounded artistic experience.

The Center goals is to expand our dance program and include virtual classes.
Dance Registration Dates: August. 26 - Sept 18, 2020. Dance registration fee will be $40 and paid on site.
All remote classes start Sept 15, 2020 & On site classes start Sept 19, 2020.
No make up classes will be available, however each class will be recorded upon request before the class.
Due to the Covid-19 financial assistance and scholarships will be available upon request.
The Cultural Arts Center is equipped to teach virtual classes in case of any safe and health situations due to COVID-19. Our main focus is to keep every student safe.
